Cement based waterproof material

There are two kinds of new polymer cement-based waterproof materials in the market: General GS waterproof material and flexible JS waterproof material.

General waterproof material features:

1: the material consisting of acrylic emulsion and auxiliaries is composed of two kinds of waterproofing materials, which are made up of special cement, graded sand and special mineral powder.

After mixing the two materials, chemical reaction takes place, which not only forms the waterproof of the surface coating, but also penetrates the interior of the base material to form a crystal to prevent the passage of water, so as to achieve the double waterproof effect. The product highlights the bonding performance and is suitable for the waterproof of the indoor floor and wall.

Flexible waterproof material features:

1: consists of acrylic emulsion and selected additives (liquid) and high quality cement, sand and rubber powder (powder) in proportion to the composition of two component, tough plastic modified polymer cement based waterproofing slurry. After mixing the powder and liquid materials, a layer of tough and high elastic waterproof membrane is formed, which has good adhesion to the concrete and cement mortar, and is firmly combined with the base surface, so as to achieve the waterproof effect. It is a new type of green environmental protection product promoted by the Ministry of construction, which is mainly suitable for civil engineering construction environment.

Scope of application

1: Walls and floors of indoor and outdoor cement concrete structures and mortar masonry structures;

2: Waterproof for the floor and wall of toilet, bathroom, kitchen, floor, balcony and pool;

3: It is used for plastering before laying stone, tile, wood floor, wallpaper and gypsum board, which can prevent moisture and salt pollution.

Base surface (base material) treatment:

1: The base material must be firm, flat and clean, free of dust, grease, wax, release agent and other debris;

2: If there are pores, cracks and unequal defects on the surface, the cement mortar shall be used to repair and level in advance. It is recommended to paste plastic strip on the expansion joint, add a layer of non-woven fabric to the joint, and fill the nozzle with grouting material;

3: The internal and external corners shall be plastered into arc shape (or V-shape);

4: Ensure the foundation surface is fully wet, but there is no open water;

5: The concrete surface to be poured (including plastering surface) shall be allowed to dry and firm completely before construction.

Usage method

Mixing: first pour the liquid into the container, then slowly add the powder, and at the same time fully mix for 3-5 minutes until a uniform slurry without raw powder and particles can be used (it is better to use the mixer).

Brush: brush directly on the base surface with a brush or roller brush, with even force, without missing brush; generally, brush twice (depending on the use requirements), with the thickness of each brush not more than 1mm; brush the last time after the previous time is slightly dry and fixed (just do not stick to the hand, generally every 1-2 hours), with the front and rear vertical cross brush, with the total thickness of 1-2mm; if the coating has been applied After curing, wet another layer with clear water.

Maintenance: after 24 hours of construction, it is recommended to use wet cloth to cover the coating or spray spray to maintain the coating.

Inspection (closed water test): after the waterproof layer is dry and fixed (at least 24 hours in summer and 48 hours in winter), the toilet, pool and other parts shall be filled with water for 48 hours to check whether the waterproof construction is qualified. Water spraying test shall be conducted for light wall.
